We had a nice, long, lovely vacation in Indiana. This was the longest trip back east that we’ve taken in quite a while, so it was wonderful to not have to rush around and cram three weeks worth of activities into three days. We never have enough time for everything, but this was a pretty darn good trip. I thought instead of posting stories and details, I’d post a few pictures. Most of them are Abby and her cousins, because that’s all I ever thought to take pictures of, but it’s better than nothing. 😉
Wagon ride #1 (don’t you love how far back Abby and Bryn are l-e-a-n-i-n-g ):
Splashing in puddles:
Behind the wheel of the Little Tykes car:
In the sandbox at Liam and Bryn’s house:
Wagon ride #52 (seriously, how cute are they?!):
And snack time at Grandma’s (seriously, these two girls were melting my heart):
We didn’t do anything earth shattering, but I think that was the best part of this trip. Mom and Dad both had to work during the week, so that gave us a chance to just chill at home every day for a few hours without feeling guilty about it. We got together with friends and family when their schedules allowed, and shopped garage sales and thrift stores every chance we got. Waylon now has wardrobe options, which is a HUGE relief….I was starting to worry over having nothing to dress him in. All in all, I’d rate our vacay a 9 out of 10. A good time was had by all!
