Help Me, Rhonda

I really, really, really need your opinion on this age old debate at our house.   Basically, the question is this: should you add water to a crock pot when cooking a roast?  One of us adds little to no water, and the other fills the crock pot to the brim.  Every time one of us makes a roast, we have this…spirited discussion.  I need some outside input.  Jon and I look forward to seeing who is cooking a roast  the “right” way in the Crock Pot.  🙂

  1. If the roast is frozen, you should add some cold water, so the ceramic part doesn’t crack. If the roast is thawed, it is your choice–how much juice do you want????
